Hi Jenni

Am new on here.Just posted my newbie intro and thought I would look around. Saw your great news. I have 3 adopted daughters all over 18 now and life has been complex. There have been many difficulties, but every achievement means so much. Treasure this moment. Am sure there will be many more.

Well done Michael!

Hi Katharine! welcome to nras- I have 2 adopted children, michael is almost 15 now and Gemma is 12.5- I then had a little surprise birth child Bernice! we have been through a lot with the older 2, learned a lot about developmental trauma and attachment on the way and are still learning to be honest! On top of this we have dealt with the RA etc...

Gemma is living in a therapeutic community, having lived with increasing levels of mental health difficulty we went through a very turbulant time last yr and realised that her needs were so hard that she couldnt live safely at home with a little one. so it has been a huge loss for us, gemma however is doing very well at her new unit and is feeling settling and being very appropriately cared for with animal therapies often etc.

I would love to talk further- perhaps give me an email on jennifer.beavis-lacey@sky.com

Jenni xx

Congratulations Michael! What an achievement getting into the championships! What event are you doing? As for completing your exam, well done. I am sure that you are relieved that it is behind you.
